There's the formal confirmation that .eu domains registered by Registrants with a U.K. address will be revoked by EURID at March 30th, with full deletion in May.
For our customers affected by this, there're two possible solutions for this issue:
- if the Registrant has any reference address available in any EU country, through our control panel it's easy to edit Registrant data and modify current address with a new one
- if the Registrant has no other address available outside U.K., he can retain his .eu domain by using a "Local Presence" service, available at a nominal additional cost.
To request "Local Presence" service activation, open a ticket in your client area in DomainRegister.international
Not enabling our Local Presence service, or being unable to update the Registrant's address with a valid EU address, your .eu domain will cease functioning ad of March 30th.
If you are the Registrant of a .eu domain not registered by mean of DomainRegister.international, transfer it to us and let us help you to fix this issue!
