Verisign, the .com registry, will be raising prices for new registrations and renewals for all .com domain names.

The price increase goes into effect on September 1, giving you plenty of time to renew your .com domains and take advantage of the current pricing!

On our system you can renew .com domains for up to 10 years since today: so by renewing today your .com for two or more years, you'll take advantage of the lower current pricing, and spare the raising fee for a number of coming years...

Is your .com domain already managed by DomainRegister?
Just login on your client area and then go to the domain renewal page

Is your .com domain currently managed by another Registrar?
Simply begin transferring your .com domain to DomainRegister. During transfer process, your .com domain will be automatically renewed for one full year since current expiring date. After the transfer will be completed, a few days later, you'll be able to further renew it for up to 9 years... and all of this at the current, lower price.

Further price increase for .com domains are expected in the coming years

The base price of .com domain registration has been frozen since 2012.
Under an agreement with ICANN, Verisign will be allowed to raise the base price by up to 7 percent per year over most of the next decade.
