DomainRegister.international informs its clients that starting from February 1, 2025, the prices for SSL certificates will be realigned, with expected increases ranging from 7% to 15%. This adjustment is in response to price hikes by the two major SSL certificate manufacturers, DigiCert and Sectigo, whose price lists were revised on September 1, 2024.
While other distributors had to adjust their prices on the same date, DomainRegister, thanks to previously signed long-term contracts, managed to maintain the same prices until February 1, 2025. Instead of increasing profit margins, DomainRegister chose not to apply any price increase to its customers until this date.
We therefore urge all our clients to take advantage of the current prices until January 31, 2025. We recommend quickly purchasing new SSL certificates or renewing existing ones to benefit from the more favourable rates before the price increase.
