When making a payment for a recurring service (domain registration, hosting service, SSL certificate, etc.), in addition to the standard PayPal payment button, the user is also offered the option to activate a “Recurring Payment.”

In this case, PayPal will automatically process the payment at the scheduled due dates to renew the service, without requiring the user to log in and approve it manually.

This feature is convenient for all services the user is certain they wish to renew, as it eliminates the risk of missing a renewal due to oversight.

The function is managed entirely by PayPal and, as such, in case of need, the user can disable it from their PayPal account area: once activated, we have no ability to modify or cancel it. Therefore, if the user no longer intends to use it, they must explicitly disable it by logging into their PayPal account.

How to disable automatic payments

  1. Log in to your account on PayPal.com

  2. Click on Profile

  3. Click on Profile and settings

  4. Select My Money

  5. Finally, click on Manage Automatic Payments

This will take you to the page for managing automatic payments, where you can suspend or cancel them.

Automatic Payments not processable

If a payment automatically sent by PayPal cannot be processed for the service renewal (for example, because the service has meanwhile been cancelled, or because the price has changed due to an upgrade or normal currency fluctuation), that payment will be processed as a “credit top-up” and will remain available to the user for the payment of any new service or renewal of an existing service.

If the amount of the incorrect payment is significant (greater than €100.00 + VAT), you may request a refund.
In this case, please open a support ticket, specifying the payment details for which you are requesting a refund and providing the PayPal transaction number.

The amount (deducted by €3.50 for administrative fees and 3% for PayPal commissions) will be re-credited to the same PayPal account originally used for the payment.

Refunds are only possible within 90 days from the payment date.
