Se sul vostro server DirectAdmin il vostro sito restituisce questo messaggio di errore:

To change this page, upload a new index.html to your private_html folder

significa che avete installato un certificato SSL, ma non lo avete configurato correttamente.

Precisamente: in DirectAdmin i contenuti protetti da https devono essere inseriti nella cartella private_html, e non nella public_html

Quindi:

  • i contenuti visibili sulla pagina http://www.nomedominio.it/ , non protetti da SSL, si trovano nella directory public_html
  • i contenuti visibili sulla pagina https://www.nomedominio.it, protetti da SSL, si trovano nella directory private_html

Si può decidere di mantenerli separati (e quindi offrire contenuti potenzialmente differenti tra accesso https ed http) oppure (ed è la situazione più comune) reindirizzare l'utente sui medesimi contenuti.

In questo ultimo caso, da DirectAdmin:

  • selezionare "Domain Setup"
  • selezionare il dominio
  • selezionare "Use a symbolic link from private_html to public_html - allows for same data in http and https"
  • fare click su "Save"
