NOTES ABOUT THE TRANSFER OF .pl DOMAINS

  • A .pl domain transfer must be initiated with a so-called authorisation code (authinfo), which can be obtained from the current registrar through the owner or Admin-C of the domain.
Please ensure, that you have a correct authorisation code associated with the domain, before initiating the transfer, otherwise it will fail.
  • Ensure that your respective domain does not have a lock status. This can be seen in the WHOIS. If the domain is locked, then the owner can demand that this be unlocked.
  • If you are not the Registrant of the domain to be transferred, please note that you need a signed request from the registrant before you initiate the transfer.
  • If the domain is active, transfer needs to be initiated a minimum of 12 days before the expiration date or 5 days after the last transfer

Transfers from NASK

Transfers from NASK require a special process; please contact our support for more details about it.

Transfers from another Registrar

  • Request the authorization code from the current registrar.
  • You can then initiate the transfer through DomainRegister portal.
  • After the transfer has been requested, the domain owner will receive a confirmation email and be asked to approve the transfer.
  • After the approval of the transfer from the domain owner, up to 5 days may be necessary to complete the transfer process
